Two years after their last podium finish at Spa-Francorchamps with Lienhard/Theys/Lammers in the Porsche RS Spyder LMP2, Horag Racing returns to the legendary Belgian circuit. This time entering their Ligier JS51 - Mugen in the Speed Euroseries.
The car will be driven by three-time U.S. road racing champion Scott Tucker who has greed to expand his racing efforts to the Speed Euroseries for 2011 with Horag Racing. The owner/driver of the successful Level 5 Motorsports operation, which fields Honda-powered Lolas in the American Le Mans Series and Intercontinental Le Mans Cup will make his series debut in next weekend’s round in Belgium.
“I’m excited for this new opportunity,” Tucker said. “As I’ve learned, experience is the most valuable asset to success in racing, so it’s very good to be able to add this program to my schedule. While it will be a new challenge for me, I’m confident we’ll get quickly up to speed.”
